Thanks so much for being interested in my art. My name is Lanette Marie Anderson. I grew up in Northern California and have always had a keen sensitivity to the world around me. I didn't realize this sensitivity would lead me to the world of watercolor art, but around 1994 I became exposed to watercolor painting and have never been the same since.
My art experience has had many twists and turns from creating a small card business that grew to include a variety of other paper media designs, to painting, showing and selling my art to clients and teaching watercolor art. I guess one could say my experience has been varied and full.
It is exciting to be able to now offer you portrait work. I love faces and the challenge water, pigment and paper bring to the development of a replication of an individual. The experience is truly magical.
